fun facts:Jessica, currently 24 years old, founded Giveable Giggles when she was 13. Steinberg has spoken at a variety of different events and conferences such as the Extreme Leadership Summit, Kiwanis and Rotary meetings, the National Leadership Academy and a few schools' career day.
Steinberg also is passionate about writing. She has been writing a monthly column for a Chicagoland newspaper for the last four years. Her journalistic work has been featured in four different countries, Hong Kong, Indonesia, America and Britain, where she worked as freelance journalist and correspondent. Currently, Steinberg is in the third year of her PhD at the University of Oxford. Her research explores the process of policymaking, which uses a case study of cannabis legislation and commercialization. Some of her research has been funded by grants provided by St. Hilda's College and became a 2018 John Blundell Scholar. She graduated with a First Class distinction from University of St. Andrews (Scotland) with a joint honors MA in International Relations and Social Anthropology. She was among the top 5% within her cohort and was one of the select students who received the Principal’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Steinberg is also the Founder and Managing Director of international cannabis consultancy firm, The Global C. She also is co-founder of entOURage Network, a platform and network for women to engage, to be empowered and to explore opportunities in the legal cannabis market. In 2017, she was named as one of Impact Squared's #100FacesofImpact based on Giveable Giggles' work. You may find her riding her push scooter, meditating on the beach, traveling spontaneously, writing in her journal or dancing with her friends and family. She is a global citizen who leads by example, and continuously creates, collaborates and brings harmony. |
